Chapter 63
A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, thou art my God; early will I seek{H8762)} thee: my soul thirsteth{H8804)} for thee, my flesh longeth{H8804)} for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
To see{H8800)} thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen{H8804)} thee in the sanctuary.
Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise{H8762)} thee.
Thus will I bless{H8762)} thee while I live: I will lift up{H8799)} my hands in thy name.
My soul shall be satisfied{H8799)} as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise{H8762)} thee with joyful lips:
When I remember{H8804)} thee upon my bed, and meditate{H8799)} on thee in the night watches.
Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice{H8762)}.
My soul followeth hard{H8804)} after thee: thy right hand upholdeth{H8804)} me.
But those that seek{H8762)} my soul, to destroy it, shall go{H8799)} into the lower parts of the earth.
They shall fall{H8686)} by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.
But the king shall rejoice{H8799)} in God; every one that sweareth{H8737)} by him shall glory{H8691)}: but the mouth of them that speak{H8802)} lies shall be stopped{H8735)}.
