Psalms

Chapter 65

To the chief Musician{H8764)}, A Psalm and Song of David. Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Sion: and unto thee shall the vow be performed{H8792)}.

O thou that hearest{H8802)} prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come{H8799)}.

Iniquities prevail{H8804)} against me: as for our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away{H8762)}.

Blessed is the man whom thou choosest{H8799)}, and causest to approach{H8762)} unto thee, that he may dwell{H8799)} in thy courts: we shall be satisfied{H8799)} with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple.

By terrible things{H8737)} in righteousness wilt thou answer{H8799)} us, O God of our salvation; who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea:

Which by his strength setteth fast{H8688)} the mountains; being girded{H8737)} with power:

Which stilleth{H8688)} the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people.

They also that dwell{H8802)} in the uttermost parts are afraid{H8799)} at thy tokens: thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice{H8686)}.

Thou visitest{H8804)} the earth, and waterest{H8787)} it: thou greatly enrichest{H8686)} it with the river of God, which is full{H8804)} of water: thou preparest{H8686)} them corn, when thou hast so provided{H8686)} for it.

Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly{H8761)}: thou settlest{H8763)} the furrows{H8676)} thereof: thou makest it soft{H8787)} with showers: thou blessest{H8762)} the springing thereof.

Thou crownest{H8765)} the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop{H8799)} fatness.

They drop{H8799)} upon the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side{H8799)}.

The pastures are clothed{H8804)} with flocks; the valleys also are covered over{H8799)} with corn; they shout for joy{H8709)}, they also sing{H8799)}.
