Psalms

Chapter 61

To the chief Musician{H8764)} upon Neginah, A Psalm of David. Hear{H8798)} my cry, O God; attend{H8685)} unto my prayer.

From the end of the earth will I cry{H8799)} unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed{H8800)}: lead{H8686)} me to the rock that is higher{H8799)} than I.

For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy{H8802)}.

I will abide{H8799)} in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust{H8799)} in the covert of thy wings. Selah.

For thou, O God, hast heard{H8804)} my vows: thou hast given{H8804)} me the heritage of those that fear thy name.

Thou wilt prolong{H8686)} the king's life: and his years as many generations.

He shall abide{H8799)} before God for ever: O prepare{H8761)} mercy and truth, which may preserve{H8799)} him.

So will I sing{H8762)} praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform{H8763)} my vows.
