Chapter 77
To the chief Musician{H8764)}, to Jeduthun, A Psalm of Asaph. I cried{H8799)} unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and he gave ear{H8689)} unto me.
In the day of my trouble I sought{H8804)} the Lord: my sore ran{H8738)} in the night, and ceased{H8799)} not: my soul refused{H8765)} to be comforted{H8736)}.
I remembered{H8799)} God, and was troubled{H8799)}: I complained{H8799)}, and my spirit was overwhelmed{H8691)}. Selah.
Thou holdest{H8804)} mine eyes waking: I am so troubled{H8738)} that I cannot speak{H8762)}.
I have considered{H8765)} the days of old, the years of ancient times.
I call to remembrance{H8799)} my song in the night: I commune{H8799)} with mine own heart: and my spirit made diligent search{H8762)}.
Will the Lord cast off{H8799)} for ever? and will{H8686)} he be favourable{H8800)} no more?
Is his mercy clean gone{H8804)} for ever? doth his promise fail{H8804)} for evermore?
Hath God forgotten{H8804)} to be gracious{H8800)}? hath he in anger shut up{H8804)} his tender mercies? Selah.
And I said{H8799)}, This is my infirmity{H8763)}: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High.
I will remember{H8799)}{H8675)}{H8686)} the works of the LORD: surely I will remember{H8799)} thy wonders of old.
I will meditate{H8804)} also of all thy work, and talk{H8799)} of thy doings.
Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?
Thou art the God that doest{H8802)} wonders: thou hast declared{H8689)} thy strength among the people.
Thou hast with thine arm redeemed{H8804)} thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.
The waters saw{H8804)} thee, O God, the waters saw{H8804)} thee; they were afraid{H8799)}: the depths also were troubled{H8799)}.
The clouds poured out{H8776)} water: the skies sent out{H8804)} a sound: thine arrows also went abroad{H8691)}.
The voice of thy thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened{H8689)} the world: the earth trembled{H8804)} and shook{H8799)}.
Thy way is in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not known{H8738)}.
Thou leddest{H8804)} thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
